NGN 2004 Project : activities at this SG13 meeting

o A management meeting of the NGN 2004 Project held on July 11 has confirmed a growing interest for the Project, proposals to expand its scope through new study areas were then formulated

o Results of WP1/13 meeting : Four new study areas are introduced in the Project, a living list is created (two items)

o New study areas are :• Network control architecture and protocols• Service capabilities and service architecture• Interoperability of services and network in the NGN• Numbering, naming and addressing (title only)

o We noted that the coverage of service aspects in the Project still needs clarification, a specific liaison will be transmitted to SG16.
