Hoping you enjoyed Monday day to chill (out, not freeze!) over the weekend. It’s such a bonus to have that little bit of extra leisure time to refuel and relax. Thank so much to those who came along to the quiz night and helped us raise $650 towards education outside the classroom activities. It was a fun night and we have the planning for another one underway. We will ensure we include some breaks next time for people to mingle, and a few more fun activities to punctate the quiz rounds. Congratulations to Jared and his Merry Men for taking away the title! We need to conquer these reigning champions! My daughters are safe in London, even though one of them walked across London Bridge and through Borough Markets on Friday night. These events make me very thankful we live in this part of the world. Enjoy and love your children every day! Thanks again to those who responded about sharing some parenting thoughts and ideas with others. Anyone else out there who would like to chat with others over a coffee, let me know at principal@ngatitoa. school.nz Have a fantastic short week Nga mihi nui Calling anyone who can help paint... Bigair GymsportsAt Bigair Gymsports, kids love gymnastics, trampolining, tumbling, Parkour and cheerleading! Coaching kids at Bigair Gym is one of the most rewarding jobs as we get to support kids and see them develop new gym skills, like cartwheels and walkovers etc., which kids love. They learn a range of personal skills, including increased self-confidence, self-reflection and pride in their achievements as they progress through our 10-level badge programme. It is highly recommended that children start gymnastics at three years due to being excellent preparation for starting school; once children are at school, gym replicates the fundamental learning processes which supports children’s learning at school, so the benefits and rewards are substantial. To find out what class would benefit your child the most, please call our Tawa Bigair Gym on 232 3508 or email [email protected]
