Who should attend:
Senior IT, Digital and Service Delivery executives from right across Australia’s public sector. NextGen Government 2016 will be attended by key stakeholders and decision makers with an interest in the digital transformation of government services. You will have the opportunity to network with key decision makers from federal and state government departments and agencies, local governments, government business enterprises, and other non-governmental publicly owned organisations.
Hear what the speakers are saying about the event:“NextGen Government 2016 is a great opportunity to connect with your federal, state and local government peers while learning from the best-of-the-best in the government IT world. I’m very excited for this event, and am looking forward to seeing you there!”
Lisa Asquith OneGov Relationship Manager, ICT Strategic Delivery NSW Department of Finance, Services and Innovation
“Technology is the comfort zone, leadership is the battle zone. Organisations must decide what type of digital strategy is right for them before deciding what type of digital leadership they need. The digital economy has grown too large to accommodate a one-size-fits-all approach to digital strategy so a number of different variants have emerged. NextGen Government 2016 provides a timely forum for digital leaders to share insight and reflection.”
Kieran O’Hea Former Chief Digital Officer City of Brisbane
“The divide between government, digital technology and small businesses still has work to be done. I look forward to bringing the critical issues into the conversations at NextGen Government 2016.”
Stephen Tait Chief Executive Officer Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland, CCIQ
“Australia’s three levels of Government face a major challenge, to respond to an increasing demand for public services at a time where resources are under increased pressure. Government leaders agree that a fundamental change to become more digital is necessary. NextGen Government 2016 presents at this tipping point to provide an invaluable forum of digital thought leadership and government innovators to share their roadmap on how they are delivering against this critical transformation.”
Jim Wyatt Former General Manager of the Digital Economy Branch WA Department of Commerce
Quest Events would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank the official event advisory panel who contributed their valuable time and expertise to ensure the agenda for this event is timely and relevant for all public sector IT, Digital and Service Delivery professionals.
