Company Overview

Established in 1996 in Brazil, Nexo CS Informática develops systems that enable

information management for safety-at-work, occupational health and environment data.

The company launched its first product, Nexo Saúde Ocupacional, in 1997. Its Nexo Gestão

Integrada (Nexo Integrated Management) solution followed, and is now in its sixth version.

Nexo CS Informática has customers throughout Brazil, Mexico, Chile, and Peru, and

focuses on meeting its customers’ expectations by offering the most advanced software

tools available.

Integration Overview

Nexo Gestão Integrada 6.1 integrates with Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2 to enable the

management of safety-at-work, occupational health and environment data.

The integration includes and updates information in Oracle E-Business Suite applications

and helps to ensure the accessibility and accuracy of that information in Nexo Gestão

Integrada, without having to duplicate data entry. Each item of information is handled by a

single application through Oracle E-Business Suite to Nexo Gestão Integrada.

The system allows information management of medical services and safety-at-work data.

The health management includes modules such as occupational health control program,

audiometry, absenteeism, ambulatory services, and spirometry.

The safety-at-work management includes modules for:

Prevention of environmental risks/risk control

Personal protective equipment (PPE)

Collective protection equipment (CPE)

Safety training

Occurrences (accidents/incidents)

Preliminary risk assessment (PRA)

Occupational hygiene

Various statistics and charts

Integration Details

Information that is integrated includes:

Company, establishments, departments, jobs, and positions

Employee assignments, applicants, personal data, and contract data

History of position, establishments, departments, and jobs

Materials, such as personal protective equipment

Nexo Gestão Integrada utilizes the Nexo Integração module to extract data from Oracle

E-Business Suite (via ETL) using flows and procedures for notifications made available

from Oracle and integrates that data with the business rules of Nexo Gestão Integrada.

The integration helps enterprises to:

Create an organizational structure that enables users to map risks and recommend

medical exams, among other tasks

Register employees and provide updated information for the registration and

control of medical and occupational care

Track transfers among positions/locations/departments/jobs or promotions

(history)—the automatic association of risk as defined in the organizational

structure

Automatically program medical exams as defined by user information (for

example date of admission, date of birth, or last exam)

Automatically generate legal reports that have been issued

Automatically transfer records that are currently in the admission process for

applicants and employees

Register materials recommended for personal protective equipment (PPE) and

manage the delivery, among other tasks
