needsofourorganizationandevents.TheLeaguehasahandfulofmissioncriticaltaskswherequalityresultsdependonknowledgeablestaffwhoareattentiveto

customerneedsandempoweredtotakeinitiativeandsolveproblemswhentheyinevitablyarise.

Achievingqualityresultsthroughamash-upofindependentcontractorsandtemp

agencieswouldbeexceedinglydifficultnottomentionalogisticalandaccounting

nightmare.TothisendtheLeaguewillhiresixsummeremployeesbetweenthe

monthsofJuneandOctoberforthefollowingpositions:

TechnicalDirector ReplayOperator CameraOperator(x2) TicketingManager MerchandisingManager

EachemployeewilltraveltoallLeagueeventsandwillbetaskedwithand

responsibleforsettingupandoverseeingoperationsspecifictotheirjobtitles.They

willbemanagedbytheLeaguesthreefull-timeemployeeswhohavethefollowing

roles:

EventDirectorOverseesalloperationstoensurethateveryoneisontaskandmeetingeventspecificobjectives.Ensuresthatexhibitionstandardsfor

gameplayarebeingmetandthescheduleisbeingadheredto.Provides

additionalassistancewhennecessarytootherstaffandtheiroperations.

Producer/DirectorResponsibleforallelementspertainingtoNGNbroadcasts.Ensuresequipmentstability,managesproductioncrewanddirectsandprovides

a/vsupportforbroadcasts.

MediaManagerManagestheLeaguesmediapresenceoverthecourseofaneventincludingallsocialmediaproperties.Producesoriginalwebcontent.

Providesextrasupportserviceswhennecessary.

EquipmentTransportation&PolicyGroundshippingoptionsarenotpossiblewheneventsoccuronoppositecoastson

back-to-backweekends.IveredesignedandrepackagedallNGNproductionequipmentandnon-rentableeventitemstofitintoninecasesthatmeetallairlines

guidelinesforcheckedbaggage.WhenflyingviaDeltaorSouthwestAirlinesno

additionalfeeswillbeincurred.

Allshippedequipmentmustbescheduledtoarriveatitsdestinationbyendofday

priortothestartoftheeventitsrequiredfor.

Localproductionrentalhousesmustbeidentifiedandadequatereplacementequipmentverifiedtobeavailableintheinstanceofdelayedorlostbaggageor

criticalequipmentfailure.

TravelPolicy

Whenflightsarerequiredallevent-criticalstaffandequipmentmustbescheduled

toarrive18hourspriortothestartofthefirstgame.

Whendrivingmorethan150milesisrequiredevent-criticalstaffandequipment

mustuserentalvehiclesandbescheduledtoarriveintheeventcityaminimumof6

hourspriortothestartofthefirstgame.

VideoArchivingAllgameswillbedoublearchivedinseparatelocationsonLTO-5tapecertifiedfor

15-30yearshelflife.ArchivingwillbedoneintheDNxHD22010bitcodecwhichexceedscurrentHDbroadcaststandards.

WeatherPolicy

TheLeaguewillidentifyandholdasabackupatleastoneturffieldintheeventthat

adverseweatherconditionscouldrequirerelocation.

FieldAccessPolicy

Whenplayinginstadiumsonlyplayers,coaches,supportstaffandauthorized

personnelwillbeallowedonthefield.Credentialswillberequiredandmade

availableformediaoutletswishingtocoverevents.

Players,coachesandsupportstaffwillberestrictedtothesideofthefieldopposite

thebroadcastbooth.Thatsidelinewillhaveasix-footsafetybarrierwitheachteam

permittedtoroamonedesignatedhalfofthatsidelinebeginningatmidfieldandextendingtofrontoftheendzone.
