Early Morning tea- 9:30-10:00 Early Lunch – 11:00-11:30pm Our theme for the assembly is Subjects.” All students will be participating so if you have time available please come and join us. It has always been a tradition at our school that assembly is conducted every fortnight. The idea is to showcase to parents that don’t often visit their child’s classroom of what students have been learning in class and for students build their confidence standing in front of an audience. ICAS ENGLISH: This week students in years 2-8 have completed the English International Competitions tests. Next week they will be sitting the Maths exams. BUS SERVICE: Teachers have received concerns from parents and other students that there are certain students that use the bus service that are misbehaving and are rude to Sam. We have spoken to all students and any more complaints will mean that these students will be asked not to use bus service. A few reminders at home will be greatly appreciated. HOMEWORK: Homework is given on Tuesdays of every week and is due on the following Monday week. If you have any concerns about homework please book a time with their class teachers and come and sit with the teachers and air your concerns. During this time your child’s teacher can answer your queries. Mrs Ghabiliha is the Curriculum Head so if there are any other concerns you have about the school curriculum please email her on [email protected] or call the school to book an appointment with her. SCHOOL REPORTS: As of this term school reports will be issued termly which means every term your child will receive a school report. If you have any queries about this please come and see Mrs Ghabiliha or myself. STUDENT CONTRACTS: Teachers will be sending out students contracts tomorrow and will book times to meet with you and your child next week to go through their goals for this semester. TUITION FEES: A friendly reminder to all parents paying school fees in installments that final installment payments are due next week (Week5) no later than August the 12th. Nonpayment of fees will mean you need to keep your children at home until all fees are paid in full for the term. Thank you to those parents who have timely paid their installments. Just a friendly reminder to please make sure when doing a direct deposit to put your child’s name on the deposit slip so we can track payments. TARDY: Teachers would like to encourage all parents to bring their children to school before 8:00 so no learning time is lost. Have a lovely weekend everyone. Regards Michelle Melachon-Kalwij
