2013
I just want to say a big well done to the year 1 and 2 classes who had a fantastic day atDelamere Forest last Friday, as always they represented Barlow Hall beautifully and showedthe excellent behaviour that the children here at Barlow hall were praised for in our OfstedReport. Well done everyone! Jayne Kennedy
Celebration Assembly: Monday 9:109:30 amYou are welcome to join us for this event. we will text you if your child is to receive a special award.Birthday cards are presented in Celebration Assembly to children having birthdays during the week
No Dogs in the School Grounds
Please can we remind all parents that dogs are not allowed
onto the school grounds. We are having a problem at the
moment with people allowing their dogs to use the school
front field and playground as a toilet area which is not very
nice for our children who use the field for sporting
activities or playing. Thank you very much for your support in
this matter.******
Y1/2 Bring a bear to school week
As part of their continuing Goldilocks and the Three Bears
topic, Y1/2 are invited to bring a teddy into school with them
on Monday morning. 30th September. Teddy will be used to
help as a stimulus for poetry writing and will stay in school for
the week with all the other bears and will go home with their
child on Friday. Dont worry if your child does not have a bear
as we have a few bears waiting in the wings to be poetry stars*********
Lost property
We currently have a large amount of lost property around
school that has accumulated since the beginning of term andhas not been collected, many of the items are un-named.
Please could you ensure that all your childs clothing, shoes,
bags, PE kits and other personal items are named so that your
child and their items can be more easily reunited.*********
Holidays
As you are aware, school are no longer allowed to authorise
holidays within school time, however, if you are planning to
take a holiday in school time you must inform school or your
child may lose their place in school. Please remember children
should be in their lines at 8:55 am in order for the children to
begin learning at 9 am.
PLEASE ENSURE PE KITS ARE IN SCHOOL ALL
