right the flow of life here. There has been a little adjusting to do and a lot of catching up with old friends. The people here are amazing, and God is moving in so many amazing ways. Since I have been here there have already been 2 new people who have made commitments to follow Christ. Praise God. It is so amazing to see the Body of Christ growing and fellowshipping with people from all walks of life.

Team 2000, have given myself and the two girls who I came with, Amy and Krista, the name “Team Power Girls.”

1 Cor 4:20, “For the Kingdom of God does not consist in words, but in power”

I am so excited to be living and following God’s heart for the Thai people. The girls and I are all working hard to first of all meet the initial needs of Team 2000 and go out into a few different communities and teach English. We are teaching at the school where the ALH boys go, (Abundant Life Home, which is the Aids orphanage team 2000 started. They have 5 boys that are currently living in the ALH home and have just opened a girls home a few doors down. There are 3 girls in that home and they are so amazing).

We have been helping out at the ALH house and taking care of the boys so that the nanny’s can have a day off. Also we are going to be starting up a few kids clubs soon, which should be really gtrat to see how God is going to spread his love to those children.

Last week was also a big week for our Team Power Girls, cause we moved into our new home in Angsila. This is a new church plant that has started in this fishing village about 15 min away from TLC (which is the church that team 2000 planted in Bang Saen). This house that we live in is 100 years old and also doubles as a church/community centre in the heart of Angsila. Currently there is just a handful of believers in this village of over 10 000 people. It is a huge community in such a small space.

So keep us all in your prayers as we reach out to this community of people who have barley anything and are living under the bondage ofBuddhism. Thanks for your support and prayers.

Prayer Requests

Pray that I would stay focused and alert to God’s leading each day. Pray that God would continually be opening doors for my

hairdressing ministry that I want to start up soon. For safety For God’s love to flow through all of us as we reach out to the

people of Angsila. For wisdom and strength as I am continually coping with the new

culture For God to use team power girls in great ways this next week as we

live and work with the people and the missionaries.
