Changes  Within  The  Apollo  Hospitality  Firm  Apollo   Hospitality   Firm   has   made   so   many   positive   changes   to   its  portfolio   this   year.     From  adding   a   La   Quinta   Inn  &   Suites   in  Wichita  Falls,  Texas  to  opening  its  first  corporate  office  in  Ardmore,  Oklahoma.    Apollo   is   simply   following   its   vision   of   increasing   the   companies’  portfolio   by,   “producing   exceptional   brand   hotels   and   continuing   to  invest   in   our   associates   to   develop   a   corporate   team   to   guarantee  guest  satisfaction.”    

Apollo  manages  by   its   vision   and  has   added   a  brand  new  position   to  the   company:   Corporate   Executive   Administrator,   which   is   filled   by  Teresa   Cavallo.    Ms.   Cavallo   has   been   with   the   company   for   9   years  with  a  total  of  13  years  of  experience  in  the  hospitality  industry  and  20  years  previous  as  a  Legal  Assistant.      Her  background  with  Apollo  has  consisted  of  working  as  Front  Desk  Associate  and  General  Manager.    In  this   new   position   as   Corporate   Executive   Administrator,   Ms.   Cavallo  serves   as   supervising   and   directing   all   of   the   activities   of   the  Administrative  Department  and  Human  Resources  of  the  company.  

Not  only  has  Apollo  added  new  positions  within  the  company,  but  also  has   added  new  General  Managers   and  or   transferred  managers   from  one   hotel   to   another   within   the   company   based   off   strengths,  weakness,  and  opportunities.    This  change  allows  General  Managers  to  broaden  their   knowledge  and  experience  but  also  brightens   the  hotel  with   new   ideas   and   change.       All   of   these   changes   show   that   Apollo  believes  in  promoting    from  within  the  company  and  also  goes    back    to    

Apollo’s  mission  of  continuing  to  invest  in  its  associates  so  we  can,  in  turn,   take  care  of  our  most  important  assets:  our  employees  and  our  guests.

Business  After  Hours  A  Huge  Success  

At  the  Holiday  Inn  Express  &  Suites  in  Duncan,  Oklahoma!  

On July 29, the Holiday Inn Express & Suites hosted its business after hours. Every room was a new experience as members of the Community toured the hotel. The hotel teamed up with the Duncan Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the Chamber Business After Hours program, which allowed people to visit several rooms in the hotel and meet the General Manager Craig Chattmon. Along the way, people visiting the hotel were able to network with various business owners, members of the Chamber, community leaders and various hotel staff members. Among the staff present was Jamie Beth Smith, the Director of Sales. She enjoys working with Duncan’s Holiday Inn Express because it allows her to be close to her hometown of Ryan. “I’m proud of our property,” Smith said. “We’re very, very blessed to be part of this community.” The Holiday Inn Express opened in Duncan two years ago. For the hotels after hours program, local and state vendors including Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Interurban, Woods & Waters Winery and Vineyard of Anadarko also took part in the event, serving wine and Chicken Parmesan. Each of the vendors was set up in various rooms along the tour route.
