Combined High School State Athletics

In September, Year 8 student Hannah Carroll

represented, Cobar High School and Western

Region in Sydney at the

NSW Combined High

Schools State Athletics

Carnival held at Sydney

Olympic Park.

We would like to congratulate

Hannah on being selected to

participate in the Carnival

and on receiving a

Gold Medal in the Discus and

a Bronze Medal in the

Shot Put.

Victor Chang School Science Award

Jye Robinson is pictured being presented a Victor

Chang Award for Science by Professor Jamie

Vanderberg at a special ceremony in Dubbo. Jye

received the award for his passion for science

and his results in Physics during 2016, a HSC

Course through the Aurora College, which is a

program available to our students.
