Importance of Fathers in our life

There is no doubt that mothers play an important leading role in the lives of their children. They are the obvious heroes of child grooming. But what about a father's role? When one talks about parenting, one cannot dismiss the important role that fathers have to play to raise a child. Fathers are considered to be more lenient of the two parents. As we grow up, they even turn into our best friends. He is always a good companion in our life.

They are the solid foundation of our lives. They are the shore, we swim to when our arms and legs feel increasingly tired. They are the strength we rely on as we take our �rst tentative steps into the world. Dads can be tender, tough, fragile or powerful but they are probably the most uncomplicated love we will ever know.

For daughters, father is the �rst man they adore the �rst man whose eyes shine with overwhelming amazement when they look at us. He is the �rst man to fall in love with us.

A father is every son's �rst hero…. their mirror image of what will be and possibly the only man they will ever feel comfortable loving.

History of Father’s DayThanks to the hard work and struggle of Ms Sonora Louise Smart Dodd of Washington. Just as we have Mother's Day to honor mothers, we also have a day to acknowledge the important role played by the father. It is called as Father’s day . Father’s day �rst celebration was in the Spokane in Washington on June 19, 1910. It is celebrated on the third Sunday of June to honor dads, grandfathers, step-dads and all men who act as a father �gure.
