INTERSCHOOL ATHLETICS CARNIVAL

On 17th October, students from Year 4, 5 and 6 went to the 2018 Interschool Athletics Carnival. All of the effort put in by

the students made it a very successful day. Despite the hot weather, all teams pushed through and did their best. Congratulations to all participants and place recipients in the individual events. The hard work and practice before school and during lunch times paid off in the team games. We placed in all team games and won several of them. A massive congratulations to Tasha, Rm 14 who was the Year 5 Girl Runner-Up, and to Isabelle, Room 18 who was the Year 6 Girl Champion. Overall, all of the points added up and brought us home a win by 7 points!

On Wednesday in Week 2, we did our assembly. We had been learning about money in Maths, so our act was called “The Price is Right”. I had a lot of fun rehearsing for our assembly. I think a lot of people found our assembly enjoyable, as I saw them laughing lots. By Thinuli, Room 11, Year 3.
