Two Day Workshop on “Deep Learning” for all the faculty of CSE Department by Dr. Sridhar Swaminathan, Bennett University
April 27th & 28th 2019.
Outcome of the workshop: By the end of this workshop, the entire faculty had witnessed the usefulness of Deep Learning and
gained a deep intuitive understanding of the technology. The workshop also helped them build and deploy their first neural network.

FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM Department of CSE at VJIT has organized a one week National level Faculty Development Program (FDP) on
“VIRTUALIZATION AND CLOUD COMPUTING” in association with NIT Warangal during 20th -25th May 2019.
For all the CSE faculty members of VJIT and other colleges.
Objective: To upgrade and acquaint all the faculty with current technological development in virtualization and cloud

Faculty Feedback Analysis System is a dynamic web application aimed to be anonymous while taking feedback from
students and generate efficient and effective reports as prescribed by the NBA & UGC. The registered students of the
institute can give the feedback of their faculty of present semester. While giving feedback, the student can see only
his/her respective subjects and subject handling faculty names. The faculty can check their feedback through smart
phones or any other small computing devices. It can be deployed in real time on a cloud server.
Want to lodge a Grievance? “Online Grievance Cell” is a new initiative taken by the VJIT, is an online web-enabled
complaining system developed by Setty Kranthi -16911A0548, of III Year II Sem
Student of CSE Branch, to enable submission of grievances by the aggrieved
stakeholder from anywhere and anytime (24x7) basis. Tracking of grievances is also
facilitated on this portal through the system generated unique registration number.
Monitoring of grievances ensuring prompt redressal. This portal for online registration
and disposal of grievances help users obtain immediate response and resolution to their
grievances from the institution itself. The AICTE/JNTU/NBA can take into account the
performance of the institution and ensure the institution meets all the required standards.

International women’s day, is a symbol of the struggles that women around the world have undergone to gain
equality and rights. It is also a reminder of how far there is still to
go. Women's Day celebrations are dedicated to honoring the women, and recognizing the contributions of women in a
ll areas of life. In our college it has been celebrated on 8th March 2019.

69th Republic Day-2019 Republic Day is a national festival of India, which celebrate every year with great pride on 26th of January. To
honour the Constitution of India as it came into force on the same day in the year 1950.On this day our country
India was announced democratic republic country.
With an aim to inspire, recognise and reward innovative
ideas of the students, the J-Hub of Jawaharlal Nehru
Technological University-Hyderabad (JNTU-H), on
Friday 14th December 2018 launched a HACKATHON
LEAGUE. The league which is exclusively for the
students will have 15 Hackthons with the theme
Sustainable Development Goals. Professor MP Poonia,
Vice-Chairman, All India Council for Technical
Education and Professor A Venugopal Reddy, Vice-
Chancellor, JNTU-H launched the league
VJIT’s Hackathon through J-Hub
Department of Computer Science & Engineering have
Organized a two day Hackathon through J-Hub on 2nd
& 3rd February 2019.
The theme covered: Agriculture, Block Chain, health
Management, and smart innovation.
Students from many engineering college/Branch have
participated in this hackathon as teams of up to five
members. Three winning teams from this
hackathon have been selected to participate at the
Central Hackathon will be conducted by J-Hub during
February/March 2019 for the 45 winning teams from
all local hackathons to identify the Top 20 innovators.
All participants and winner will get certificates from
VJIT along with cash prizes and medals
ALUMNI MEET 2019 The Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology has celebrated 15th Alumni Meet “MILAN” on 2nd February 2019 at VJIT
Campus. The program was attended by more than 100 alumni of CSE Dept. The college has honoured the best alumni
of the institutions who has significant in their working field and also they constantly contributing for the benefit of the
Department and the college.

VJIT to introduce B.Tech in “AI”
Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology will be introducing a 4 years full-time B.Tech programme in “Artificial
Intelligence” in 2019-20 academic years, with an intake of 60 students.
PLACEMENT CELL VJIT has a full-fledged Placement Centre with a Faculty Coordinator and Student Representatives. The Placement
Cell continuously seeks out opportunities for internships and final placement of the students of all branches. The Cell
arranges industry interactions, internships, personality development workshops, seminars and soft skill training to
enhance the employability of the students at regular intervals.
“Placement Day-2019” is celebrated on 13th April 2019, by the Training and placement cell of VJIT on achieving
600 placements for the current academic year 2018-19. The current batch (2015) of students has been successful in
procuring 600+ placements in reputed companies located in India.
