How have we GROWn this week?

In

Nursery we have read

the story of The Little Red Hen; we then made our

own bread. We were very kind and let the staff try

our bread!

Year 4 have been finding out

about life in the 17th century

in London, as they learn

about the Black Death.

Our Y5/Y6 football team trav-

elled to Hollingwood Primary to play against them in

the next fixture in the Chesterfield Schools football

league. It was a very competitive game from the

kick off and everyone gave their absolute best.

Hollingwood eventually came out on top but we

look forward to welcoming them to Inkersall in the

next few weeks to play them again.

On Thursday, we entered

the Y5/Y6 Chesterfield Schools competition at

Cutthorpe Cricket Club. We played against 3 teams. We

beat Temple Normanton and Old Hall before losing a

close game against Mary Swanwick. Everyone

represented the school incredibly well and thoroughly

enjoyed competing against other schools. Well done

to everyone who has represented Inkersall. You made

us all very proud!

Give time to work

collaboratively,

deepen learning by valuing

talk and asking relevant

questions.

Reading to explore and

discover new learning and

skills.

Opportunities for

adventures and to learn

about the world around

us, using a range of

resources.

Wellbeing of each other,

keeping healthy physically

and mentally.

We have been baking cakes

read for our charity event on

Friday!
