PRINCIPAL’S REPORT

Principal’s Message

Wow! We have had an extremely busy and exciting end

to our first year. Reports were sent home with students

on Friday, 5 December, 2014. Congratulations to all the

students who have worked hard this year and achieved

well. Thank you to teachers for their efforts throughout

the year.

During the year, students and staff have appreciated the

support provided by the parents and the wider

community. I would like to thank the Parents and

Citizens Association, the Canteen Committee and

workers and the Uniform Shop and their many

supporters, the parents and friends who have worked

with students and with other activities, the Scripture

teachers and the many other parents who have

contributed to the school. Your support has been

greatly valued.

The school term ends on Wednesday 17 December

2014.

I wish all students, teachers and parents a Merry

Christmas and safe and happy holiday. I look forward to

seeing you all back again next year.

School Fete

A special thank you is extended to the P & C for the funschool fete conducted on Friday 28 November. The

students had a great time on the jumping castles and at

the tennis and Kung Fu demonstrations. The Indian and

Korean food and sausage sizzle were scrumptious. The coffee

was great and students enjoyed cooling down with a coloured

slushee and gelato. Thank you to all parents who supported

the fete by donating their time or items for the raffle. It was a

great opportunity for the whole school community to come

together and celebrate the end of year. Thank you for yoursupport and efforts!

Leaving your child at home alone

Making some clear 'home alone' rules with your child gives

them an understanding of their boundaries and can also

keep you from worrying. Most kids will be fine on their own

when the appropriate time comes, so long as some

guidelines are followed.
