Meeting.
Club President Kelly Westgerdes opened the meeting in the traditional manner. Happy Sad Dollars were collected.
Gas card drawing winners are Linda May and Michael Eyink.
Lt. Governor Linda Steinbrunner be paying us a visit at the March 4 Board meeting and, most likely, bring some Coldwater members along for an interclub.
Lt. Governor Steinbrunner stated that it is very important that each club should send at least two members to the Kiwanis International Convention in Indianapolis and that the deadline for early registration is April 10. She also stated that the next Lt. Governor should come fron eithe Celina or St. Marys clubs.

Kiwanis Education.
3. The first name suggested for the organization that became Kiwanis was “Benevolent Order Brothers.” But Ottie Robertson, a charter member of the Detroit No. 1 club, didn’t like it. “It seems to me,” he said, “that Benevolent Order Brothers is a mighty peculiar name for an organization of businessmen. Who wants to be a BOB?”
