JANUARY 2010
NEWSLETTER - ISSUE # 38
INLAND EMPIRE - SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
~ Membership ~
It seems as though the year 2009 just arrived
not so long ago and yet here we are celebrating
the month of January 2010. Maybe what is
said is true, when youre having fun, time
flies. It was an exciting year for cruises and
even though the weather tried to keep us from
making some of these cruises we still manage
to get the upper hand and make it through the
day.
On the positive side we made more
friends, discovered new beginnings, explored
faraway places, and experienced the fact that
the elements might play against us on a cruiseno matter what time of the year it is.
For the most part we did have
enjoyable cruises to distant places and others
that were close to home that we enjoyed very
much.
So of course, this year in 2010 once the
cruise schedule is posted on the clubs web-site
and we reorganize some of the yearly
responsibilities in our personal agenda, we the
membership can again start off with another
year of cruising with the main objective intomaking more memories.

Christmas Luncheon of December 20, 2009
This year the celebration over the holiday season was done at Carrows Restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga,
California. Everyone of the Rancho Cucamonga PT Cruiser Cruisin Club members were invited to attend as well as all
of the members of Marine One USMC, a volunteer organization composed of (former Marines) and a newly
formed Marine Unit Detail base in this area of Southern California.
The reason both organizations came together for this years Christmas Luncheon was because time ran short
and the preparations for two different locations was impossible in meeting the deadline schedule for this annual
celebration. Rancho Cucamonga PT Cruiser Cruisin club along with Marine One brought family to honor this
celebration.
As one after another took the podium and spoke about what was important in their life during this past year
many felt the emotions of knowing one another and just how similar our lives are as we come together and speak
about many events that we have experience from time to time. One sure thing that we all felt was the safety of the
military abroad and what the future holds for them. Some spoke of the many thanks for good things that are in their
lives and also of some of the memories that have not been so pleasant from time to time as we experience life. But
the special thanks given by many was the thanks that we are able to be here and spend some time celebrating with
many new friends on this beautiful day.
City of Rancho Cucamonga Rex Gutierrez, Nancy Pilonieta United States Navy, RCPTCCC, and Marine One
along with family expressed to me how glad they were to be here for this sincere holiday event. I would like to say
Thank You to all of those who came and shared this day with all of us here. Hopefully we will be able to give many
more thanks for all good things in the year 2010. Thank you and may all your wishes come true in 2010. RCPTCCC
