    Bible: We have talked a lot about theevents leading up to Easter and the

    celebration of Jesus resurrection. Wealso visited Spain on our trip around the

    world.

    Themes: We finished up Unit 3 with a

    story about children learning to do the

    Mexican hat dance (Jarabe Tapato).

    We liked watching some videos ofchildren doing the dance! This week we

    talked about eggs and Easter. We

    observed cracked eggs and drew a

    picture of the inside. We learned what

    animals come from eggs and did a riddle

    writing to describe one of those

    animals. And of course, we did

    activities with Easter.

    REMINDERS:

    *BBQ ticket orders are due on ThursdayApril 4 by 8:00am. We encourage

    everyone to participate!

    De la Seora:Im excited to say that our auctio

    project is just about finished. This

    weekend I plan to scan each childs

    finished handprint animal. I hope to senthis scanned picture to each of you so yo

    can see your childs part. The entire

    poster of all the handprint animals will bauctioned off on April 19.

    Im looking for some volunteers to

    help with two projects. First is tocomplete our two yearbook pages. I will

    have pictures for you to use. Second is

    to help with a very large project ofmaking copies of leveled readers for

    Spanish Immersion. I have had one

    parent volunteer but it is too large of aproject for just one person. Please let

    me know if you can help!
