    MARTIN LUTHER KING JR.S DREAM

There will be NO school on

Monday, January 21st in observation of

    Martin Luther King Jr. Day

    iving the Dream

Holidays are special days. Some days are remembrance

nd some are days of celebration. Martins Day is both aay TO REMEMBER his work and dream, and a day TO

ELEBRATE in the true spirit of community. But, most

mportantly, Martins Day is our day TO ACT on those is-

ues for which he dedicated his life.

Martin Luther King, Jr.s work took him to communities

cross our nation and around the world. He traveled a trail

f freedom and the lives of people everywhere were

ouched in some way by his deeds. Martin said that

everybody can be great because anybody can serve. On

ehalf of The King Center, I wish to thank you for hearing

Martins message and for dedicating the holiday to the

rinciples of racial equality and nonviolent social change.
