Newsletter #10 | 1 August 2019 Rand Park for the Vega Win! Rand Park’s team of Grade 12 learners: Timothy Langa, Dharshan Moodley, Veekash Singh and Kiash Chetty, entered the Vega School of Brand Leadership’s BizBrand Jam Competition and succeeded in clinching the win for the Johannesburg Region. The team was tasked with competing in a business simulation project which required them to identify a business opportunity, develop plans to launch that business and consider strategic decisions that will affect its future success. Vega lecturers provided important information to the competition participants to inspire their conceptual development and branding ideas as well as information on how to add value to people’s lives while making a profit. Naledi Shuenyane of Vega School presented the prizes to the team at last week’s school assembly. The prizes included a R12000 Takealot voucher for Rand Park High School and a R1000 Takealot voucher for each member of the winning team.
