Over 200 persons attended the 59th Annual Meeting of the Hope Haven Area Development Center Corporation at the Burlington Golf Club October 24th. President, Loren Stein, presided over the meeting with Executive Director, Bob Bartles, going over the highlights of 2016.

Are you bored a couple mornings or afternoons during the week? Hopefully Yours is the place to be! We are looking for volunteers at our new location (617 Jefferson Street) beginning immediately. Duties include assisting customers, interacting with Hope Haven clients, sorting and pricing items, as well as re-plenishing and straightening the sales floor. All we ask is that you bring a positive attitude and possess the willingness to have fun on our team! The hours are up to you. We are open Mon-Fri 9:30-5:00, and Sat 9:30-4:00. Must complete company application form and pass back-ground check.

The Smith Waiver Home was destroyed by fire early this year. Hope Haven rebuilt the home on the site. Southeastern Community College construction department and Knapp Construction assisted our Maintenance Department and Enclave group in rebuilding the home. The residents are living happily in this newly built home.
