Oconomowoc and its sister communities line the pathways between Madison and Milwaukee. This region has long provided outdoor recreation with lakes, bike trails, cross country skiing, running paths, camping, hunting, and fishing, to name a few. Our small towns are pleasant to live in and refreshing to visit. This

legacy can be preserved and enhanced by committed citizens and enlightened governments. Greener Oconomowoc’s OconomoWALK and Bike committee believe that it is important for the bicycling community to come together with other riding clubs, industry players, advocacy organizations, and government entities to coordinate a dialogue around bicycling issues. The Greener Oconomowoc Earth Day Bike Summit is the perfect venue where the necessary conversations can start, by bringing together these stakeholders to learn what each group is doing, would like to do, what the common interests are, and who can help.
