However, only one-third get the help that they need. This is why the West Alabama Mental Health Center is making mental wellness a priority among preteens and parents through the “Smiling Faces Going Places” campaign. Big Al will be joining the Smiling Faces Going Places staff to help spread the news about mental health issues at the first community-based event, Tuesday, October 27 th , from 6:00 to 7:00 at the Demopolis Civil Center. This event is for 4 th through 8 th graders and their families; admission is free. Big Al hopes to see you there!
