The IT news channel is all new! Perfect for those who want to be up-to-date with all things fashion, plus a daily review of a blog selected by Grazia experts.The totally innovative layout is deliberately reminiscent of a newspaper: events are indicated by specific elements, while dates in red denote new content.

Grazia.it accompanied Reebok throughout the 7 Park Tour, an event held in the parks of seven Italian towns, from north to south, involving all sports lovers who were keen to try the latest word in fitness: CrossFit. After Grazia IT bloggers tried and described the workouts, even the editorial department decided to have a go at CrossFit when the 7 Park Tour hit Milan. Kitted out in RealFlex (Reebok’s new ultralight footwear), Grazia.it’s editorial staff launched out into group and equipment-assisted exercises for a whole day of fun and fitness.

IT NEWS CHANNEL REVAMPED

Grazia.it is a media partner of an EMI competition for women, She Can DJ. The competition seeks to find the best Italian woman DJ and make her a superstar. Any woman who was 18 or over on June 15 can enter the competition by signing up at shecandj.it uploading an original or remixed track. The 2nd edition of the Grazia Beauty Awards took place in an original location in Paris: a bowling alley!The party was held to celebrate the 10 hottest beauty products of the season chosen by Grazia Beauty Editor Céline Perruche, beauty professionals and a reader. For each prize, the beauty editor and her team had to bowl a strike to reveal the name of the winner on the giant screens. After each prize, the winner received a diploma and a bowling ball inscribed with her name, and was driven to the Grazia Photocall. At the end of the “non ceremony”, everyone bowled until late in the eveningIt was a striking, fun event in perfect Grazia style – bold but very chic!

This month, Grazia UK introduced Grazia Local, a new section highlighting the best bits of the UK and Ireland. Grazia’s editorial team asked readers to recommend their favorite local spots: a secret boutique, restaurant, café or simply something that readers loved most about their hometown. Starting with a North-West Special, all the suggestions have been collated into 10Hot.

Grazia UK partnered with the Design Museum as a media partner for their Christian Louboutin exhibition this summer. Style Director, Paula Reed, had exclusive access to the designer and is set to host a Q&A with him at the museum this month.

At the beginning of May 2012, a jury of fashion industry insiders, and GRAZIA readers, voted the “Best Dressed German Celebrity”. Fifty nominees and five winners in five different categories.The awards ceremony was held in central Berlin at Panorama 37, a unique venue on the 37th floor of a Radisson hotel.This world-class event was attended by approximately 120 guests, including editors, celebrities and people from the fashion and beauty industry. There was also an elegant banquet held 120 metres above Berlin.Throughout the night the guests enjoyed a spectacular view over the German capital. After finishing the seated meal, a German band called “Frida Gold” started playing. All guests began to dance and evidently enjoyed themselves. The evening went on to become a great night.

Grazia Russia and Mango teamed up to launch an interesting contest for readers: they had to use Mango clothes to create Kate Moss-style fashion looks. The person who created the best look won a 500 euro shopping voucher, while the other top 20 won a “Luxurious Volume” kit from John Frieda Cosmetics. The contest was announced in 10 Mango stores in the cities of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Novosibirsk, Perm, Samara, Saratov and Chelyabinsk.What’s more, during the contest period, customers who spent more than 125 euros in clothes at Mango received the latest issues of GRAZIA as a present!

In honour of Mother’s Day, Grazia Australia launched a reader competition to elect Australia’s best-dressed mum. Readers had to nominate themselves, or any stylish mum they knew, by emailing a picture of the nominee in her best outfit and also tell in 25 words or less how having children has changed their style. The prize was a $1529 wardrobe upgrade. Grazia fashion team judged all the materials and selected the most stylish mum. The winner’s name will be revealed soon and a gallery of the winner and runners-up will appear in Grazia magazine as proof that family life is full of fashion moments!

ARDENFor the second time, Grazia and Elizabeth Arden teamed up and held a beauty class in Bandung.

This time readers could participate in a real makeup competition:

the winners won Elizabeth Arden beauty products as prizes.

Johnny Depp’s movie, “Dark Shadows”, was the inspiration of Grazia Indonesia’s event with cosmetic brand NYX. Held at EX Plaza in Jakarta, it started with movie screening for 150 readers and was followed by beauty demo inspired by the makeup used in the movie. Beautiful makeup kits were awarded to the best dressed and door prize winners. All readers got a goodie bag that included a NYX lipstick that was shown earlier at the demo.

Sport is in the airIn May Grazia Bulgaria featured Bulgarian athlete Ivet Lalova on its cover. She posed exclusively for Grazia and talked about her training programme for the forthcoming Olympic Games in London. Inspired by the new sports trend in designer collections, Grazia also published a special photo session and some great shopping ideas for an active summer.

As part of the Let’s Do It international cleanup campaign, Grazia Bulgaria became the media partner for a day of the Cleaning Bulgaria drive organized by the country’s most popular TV channel. The Grazia team not only disseminated the idea and took part in the cleaning, it also launched a reader competition focused on creating a beautiful item from recyclable materials. The results were really amazing and the editorial department received a huge number of photos of highly imaginative creations. The magazine also ran a feature about sustainable design and new eco trends in fashion.
