GROPING

“Chiken Little Family” The teacher will distribute a piece of paper to each

student. There are three different colors in every piece of paper

Red = Chiken Little Green = Father Purple = Mom

• Students will move randomly to find their “Little Chiken Family”. They are not allowed to gather with the students sitting next to them.

• Once they found their family member , they have to say "WE ARE HAPPY FAMILY“. Don’t forget to use VERY CUTE EXPRESSION.

BINGO GAME

Listen to the following song carefully, the song is about names of

people job/occupation (will be played by your teacher)

Find the word from the song that same with the word in you

binggo card. Tick or cross the word then.

If you've completed ticking or crossing the words horizontally or

vertically and diagonally. You can say “BINGGO”

The group that can finish it first, will get a prize from the teacher

about certain events or news that happening. In this

text the writer would like to give a clear information

how, why, where the event happened.

To inform the readers, listeners, viewers about

events of the day which are considered newsworthy

or important.

SAMPLE OF NEWS ITEMPamekasan student wins math contest in Romania

Alyssa Diva Mustika, a student from Pamekasan Junior High School, East Java, won the gold medal at the

International Mathematics Contest held in Romania between March 22 to 29, Antara news agency reported.

Speaking to journalists, Diva said she was glad that she had been able to win the competition, which she said

had been very tight. “Thank God I won. I will study harder,” she said.

Indonesia sent 10 students to the competition in Romania. Diva is not the first Pamekasan student to win an

international science competition. Oktavian Latief, a student from SMA Negeri 1 Pamekasan won gold at the

International Physics Olympiad in 2006. Another student, Shohibul Maromi, won the same award in 2010.

“I thank Diva for giving a good name to Indonesia and Pamekasan on the international stage,” Pamekasan

` Indonesia has donated US$2 million Rp 18 billion to help Japan cope with the impacts of

the recent earthquakes and tsunami, Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa says.

The government may donate more aid to Japan later during the construction phase, Marty

said in Jakarta on Wednesday night during a joint press conference with Japanese Deputy Foreign

Minister Makiko Kikuta, antaranews.com reported.

Kikuta was in the country to attend the ASEAN Regional Forum Disaster Relief in Manado,

North Sulawesi Utara, and the Metropolitan Priority Area meeting in Jakarta.

Kikuta said the disaster would not affect bilateral relations between the two countries,

including the strategic partnership such as Japan’s plan to provide loans for coal power plants and

infrastructure in Indonesia .
