Dear Parents It gives us a great pleasure in presenting you with yet another edition of our school newsletter apprising you of the latest school activities. We firmly believe that the role of a school is much more than merely achieving academic excellence. Developing skills in conjunction with knowledge so that our students become lifelong learners , critical thinkers and productive members of this dynamic society is of utmost importance. It is our constant endeavour to provide the students with a platform where they can freely think, express and exhibit their skills through the whole gamut of activities inbuilt in our curriculum. These activities instill in them the discipline, skills and values which enable them to reach greater heights. We believe that right education addresses all the dimensions of a child’s personality - physical, mental, psychic, moral, social and spiritual. Hence, we train our students for life, through experiences beyond their textbooks and syllabi. As educators, we continuously evolve and update our method-ologies to meet the ever changing economic, social and technological demands, so that we can impart our student the necessary skills to face daily challenges. Every year, it’s overwhelming to see the exuberance and motivation exhibited by our students at all competitive levels be it intra- class, inter-house, inter-school, zonal, national and international in various cultural, literary, sports or academic pursuits. The aim is to establish in students, a well-balanced personality who rejoice in their own achievements and yet stay humble . We wish them to also be able to deal with failure or a reprimand, gracefully. We want to be proud of our students not only when they are in school but also long after they have stepped out of the school gates into this challenging world .We adults must remember that we cannot create an island for our children to live in. They must learn to live in this world interacting with fellow human beings both younger and older. Being able to accept a committed mistake is the first step towards correcting one’s distasteful habits. Hence we would want them to remember that the will to win, the desire to succeed, the grace to accept and the urge to reach your full potential are the keys that would unlock the door to personal excellence. I would urge all our parents to extend their support and co-operation to all our programmes so that our vision for our students come alive and our efforts produce effective results.
