Crest and Monroe CountyMay 21 through Aug. 12 – Bloomington: Monroe County History Center. In 1956, Crest unveiled theirtoothpaste to the world. For years prior to the release, scientists at Indiana University created thecavity preventing prototype and used residents as its test subjects. Through Crest advertisements, thisexhibition will tell the story of how IU and Monroe County were involved with a revolutionary invention.
