This is the classic news

Arne Jacobsen is world renowned for his simple

architectural functionalism and in 1937 he created a

hand-drawn typography. We call it Arne Jacobsen’s

vintage ABC. But alongside this he was also an

extremely talented artist who created a large number of

watercolour paintings and floral motifs.

Design Letters & Friends have secured the rights to

these so far unknown and very distinctive floral patterns from Arne Jacobsen’s design heritage. In addition, we

are extremely proud to present a new collection of his

original accessories, designed especially for one of his

iconic buildings, The SAS Royal Hotel, Copenhagen.

Please welcome the two new design series in our

collection: Flowers by Arne Jacobsen and AJ Royal

Vintage.
