Vanguard 2.5mm LED Posters Whirlwind Power Link TLT Line Cord Testers

Vanguard LED Displays, a provider of premi-um-quality LED displays for staging, trade shows and other live events, announced the availability of their new portable LED Poster at locations in Or-lando and Las Vegas. The models feature portable rolling road cases and are Wi-Fi enabled (via app or direct inputs). They are available for rent or pur-chase.

The Whirlwind Power Link TLT (Tester Line-True) is a dedicated test device for Neutrik True One three wire power cords. It’s a battery-powered continuity tester that verifies the condition of power cables that are difficult to test without applying danger-ous line voltage. Each of the three conductors is tested for continuity, shorts, and incorrect con-nections, and testing cables is as easy as plugging them in. The TLT has three green and one red LED that indicate correct wiring or any fault conditions.

ETC’s new fos/4 Panel Lights for the cinematic industry promise unrivaled brightness in two array options. The Lustr X8 array adds a deep red LED to its mix that brings a richness to the spectrum by enhancing skin tones and giving new depth to blues, greens, and ambers. The Daylight HDR is a tunable white light array that, using a calculated selection of LEDs from the X8 color system, offers a natural warmth when rendering skin tones and is optimized for output in cooler temperatures.

Chauvet Professional’s low-profile, high-out-put Ovation CYC 1 FC offers an illuminance of 173 lux at 5 meters and a built shutter can serve as a glare shield when this sleek, silent fixture is used as a footlight. Equipped with Ovation’s RGBAL col-or-mixing technology, a virtual color wheel and ad-justable Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), the fixture also features 16 bit dimming and optics that allow for a wide, smooth coverage area. An integrated kick stand adds to the fixture’s versatility.

Don’t let the size of the Mobiltechlifts ML2 fool you. Within its compact 2.4 x 2.4 meter (7.87’ x 7.87’) footprint, there is an impressive loading capacity of up to 200kg (441 lbs.) and a maximum height of up to 6.5 meters (21.5’), making the ML2 well suited to smaller live events. Features include telescop-ic outriggers, rubber feet, integrated wheels with brakes and a bubble level for convenient leveling. The unit also has plastic cushions on the lift’s body that prevent damage to the mast.

Chroma-Q’s Space Force twobyfour LED Soft Light is a scaled-up version of their Space Force onebytwo. Both serve as bright, high quality re-placements for conventional sources used in film and TV studios, live broadcast, vlog, and photo-graphic applications. Like its more compact coun-terpart, it can be tuned from 2800K to 6000K, but in addition, up to eight of its distinct cells can be controlled individually to create various shades or effects. The two panels join the company’s original and widely adopted Space Force LED space/soft light.

Obsidian Control Systems’ ONYX 4.4 lighting control software fully integrates Obsidian’s DYLOS pixel composer, bringing a new toolset of media composition, effects, content and text generators, along with a variety of parameter manipulation, into the core of any ONYX console or PC system. Promising a natural workflow, DYLOS is based on a full 3D environment and DirectX graphics process-ing. Obsidian Control Systems is offering all users of DYLOS a curated content package with more than 1,100 media files as part of the launch.

Elation Professional’s Artiste Rembrandt LED Wash, a companion washlight to the Artiste Mon-et LED Profile, uses the same 950W 6,500K Bright White LED engine as the Monet for 51,000 lumens of wash output via Fresnel lens optics and hotspot LED engine that promise an optimized wash field. With a fast zoom range from 8° to 72° and an im-pressive 180mm front lens, the Rembrandt has the power to cut through at even great distances in arena touring environments or large TV or theater stages.

Pangolin and Visual Productions NL have joined forces to offer support for the TimeCore product within Pangolin’s FB4 media server and BEYOND software, making it easier for lighting designers to control laser and multimedia shows, over SMPTE timecode. This workflow makes it easy for LDs to control an entire laser and multimedia display. Another advantage is a precise BPM over a large quantity of laser fixtures. TimeCore is a compact device that will essentially handle all timecode related tasks. It can generate, follow, convert, and display timecode signals.

Environmental Lights’ new 5-in-1 LED Light Sheets is a cuttable and modular light sheet de-signed specifically for backlighting applications where bolder colors or softer pastels are important. Five LEDs are packaged in every node on each light sheet. All five colors can be mixed to create a wide range of color options. Individual light sheets fea-ture 12 cut segments containing six 5-in-1 nodes, for a total of 72 nodes per sheet. Multiple sheets can be connected to cover larger surface areas.
