About Institute: Matoshri Aasarabai polytechnic, Eklahare, Nashik was established in the year 2009 – 2010. This organization is offering 3 years diploma courses in Information Technology, Computer, Electronics & Telecommunication, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical and Automobile Engineering. All the above courses are approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, DTE, Mumbai government of maharashtra and affiliated to MSBTE mumbai.The establishment of Matoshri Aasarabai polytechnic, Eklahare in 2009 indicates the achievement of new horizons in the field of engineering to fulfill the

requirement of today's society and corporate world at large. This institution will impart the best quality education to the society as it is being done by Jagdamba Education Society started at Yeola by Hon. ShriNarendrabauDarade in the year 1991. Senior Congress man Mr. NarendrabhauDarade is in the service of rural people and farmer since last 30 years. To bring about the social awakening and development of rural area, he started SantoshJanseva Trust. In order to give financial security and to increase per capita income of rural people, he also established Late. Keshevrao

Patel NagriPatshanstha at Yeola which caters to the various capitals needs of the people for starting new enterprise/ business. The Govt. of Maharstra rightly acknowledged his efforts and awarded him with prestigious and renowned “Late. Indira Gandhi Sadbhavana and Ekatmata Award” in 1995. He is also been awarded by RashtriyaEkatmataAward at Bangalore in the year 2004-05 and “ Hind Ratna Award” at Londan in the Year 2007-08 for his contribution to the social and economic empowerment of the people. Realizing the technical and professional needs of the people, he pioneered Jadmaba Education Society in1991. He is very affectionately called as “ShikshanMaharshi” of the region. In the year 2008 he also started Matoshri College of Engineering & Research Center at Eklahare.

From Director’s desk

Matoshri education society was established in 2009 with the intention of rural educational development. The society runs a network of Engineering College , Management College ,Pharmacy College ,Bachelor of Education College ,Polytechnic College, Basic B.Sc. Nursing college, ANM nursing,etc. To create & prepare the competent & qualified engineers and managers to meet future challenges.

The team at the controls of relationships here firmly believes that “Quality” is the only supernatural utterance for our survival and growth in today’s cut throat competitive scenario. At the same time we also believe that “Quest for Quality” is never ending process. Whatever shortcomings we may have today, we are at work collectively to ensure incredible value additions amongst our students during their four years stay with us. At the same time we also confidently ensure that the alumni of our college will always feel proud of their choice of institution in the future life. My best wishes to the students and the guardians who have shown faith in us.

In today’s world of Liberalization, Privatization & Globalization, where every field has already become computerized & technologically advanced, our youths have to be imparted with the world class knowledge about the same, so that in future they will be able to triumph over any sort of new technological challenges, facing them in the best possible way with less efforts.

In the Matoshri Aasarabai Polytechnic College, Nashik our aim will be to produce world class engineers who will not only match the global standards but also create and establish their own separate identity making their parents, institute and Nation proud about them. Our aim will also be to impart the leadership and entrepreneurship skills and qualities to the students so that in the days to come they will head the leading multinationals making their future secure. We the management and the staff of Matoshri Aasarabai Polytechnic have a vision to make our institution one of the top most institutes and also to set a mile stone for other similar Institutes in this field. Department of civil engineering is a synergistic product of many tactical minds. A team of 10 teaching staff member under the leadership of Prof. S.K.Kadam consistently connects its Potential in technical, industrial and global all aspects to take the department to greater heights. The diploma in civil engineering started in the institute from the academic year 2009-10.We offers three years diploma course in civil engineering approved by AICTE affiliated to MSBTE and recognized by DTE with the intake of 120 students for first year. With intake of 120 looking at the global and technical development in civil field. Department has separate departmental library consisting of more than 60 titles for in-lab reference to the students. For students as well as staff, the department regularly arranges Seminars, Workshops by industry, corporate experts. To enhance the abilities and understand the technical applications, various industrial visits and vocational training conducted regularly for students. The department has 7 major laboratories namely surveying lab, mechanics lab, mechanics of structure lab, geotechnical lab, public health engineering lab, concrete technology and AUTO-CAD lab. Each lab consists of adequate equipment to conduct the practical required to be conducted in the diploma course.

Civil Engineering is professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, & maintenance of physical and naturally build environment including works like road, bridges, canal, dam & building. Civil Engineering take place in public sector from municipal to national government & in private sector from individual to international companies.
