TERM 1 2018 – Administration DayDear Parents and Guardians,

After the success of the 2017 Administration Day Newington College will run an Administration Day on Monday, 29 January, 2018.

That day, Year 8-12 students are only required at school for the following:

1. Meet the Mentor 15minute interview. Please make an online booking through Stanmore Spaces – this will open 15 January, 2018 with a communication coming at that time to prompt you.*Please note: if your son is a Peer Support leader your will not be able to book your Meet the Mentor session between 8:30am and 11:00am

2. Individual photo in Music Practice Hall – This can be taken any time between 8:00am and 2:00pm. Full blazer uniform is required.

Other than these two compulsory items, Year 8-12 students are not required at school; however, throughout the day the College is running a series of forums we encourage you to attend with your son. Details of the content and timing of these forums are listed below. A location guide is also included in this document and will be available on the day from the tent in front of Centenary Hall. A coffee van will also be in place.

On Monday, 29 January. Year 7 students will have an orientation program from 8:30am – 3:20pm. It will include portrait and Mentor Group photos. Full blazer uniform is required (long pants, white shirt, black blazer, tie, polished shoes). Student should arrive well before 8:30am and go straight to their mentor rooms.

Year 7 parents are encouraged to attend the parent forums detailed below. The Year 7 boys will not be able to attend with you as they will be engaged in their own full day orientation program.
