NEWCOMER NEWS Women Welcoming Women to the Grand Strand
Happy Valentines Day
www.newcomersgs.org 244 Active Members February 2016
Happy Valentine’s Day! Can you
believe it’s February? I hope as our year
progresses that everyone continues to reach
out to our “New” comers to make them feel
welcome. We are going to change the order
of business yet again. Today we will be
introducing our new members near the
beginning of the meeting in the hopes that
they will be able to connect with some of
our not so new members before the meeting
is over. We, as your board, want to provide
as many opportunities for all of you to
develop lasting relationships and
friendships. If you haven’t checked the
special interest table lately, why not do it
today? There are also several more special
events coming up…..maybe there’s one
you’d like to sign up for. There’s also our
monthly luncheon at Pine Lakes. OR,
perhaps you’d like to get involved with the
leadership of our club. The nomination
committee is being formed and it’s time to
start thinking of how you might want to
contribute. Think it over, be proactive and
enjoy the opportunities available.
