‘So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don’t need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil

deeds and placing our faith in God. 2 You don’t need further instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. 3 And

so, God willing, we will move forward to further understanding.

2 Corinthians 13:5

‘ Examine yourselves to see if your faith is genuine. Test yourselves. Surely you know that Jesus Christ is among

you; if not, you have failed the test of genuine faith

你 們 總 要 自 己 省 察 有 信 心 沒 有 ， 也 要 自 己 試 驗 。 豈 不 知 你 們 若 不 是 可 棄 絕 的 ， 就 有 耶 穌 基 督 在 你

們 心 裡 麼 ？Examínense para ver si están en la fe; pruébense a sí mismos.

¿No se dan cuenta de que Cristo Jesús está en ustedes? ¡A menos que fracasen en la prueba!

Galatians 5: 6

• For when we place our faith in Christ Jesus…. What is important is faith expressing itself in

James 2:14-261. DEAD FAITH

• ‘Faith without works is DEAD.’• Intellectual faith only•Words are not backed up with works

• And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life.

2. DEMONIC FAITH

1. They believe in God 2. They believe in the deity of Christ - Mk 3:11-123. They also believe in the existence of a place of

condemnation - cf. Lk 8:314. And they believe Jesus will be the Judge! -

Mt 8:28-29

2. DEMONIC FAITH

• Intellect & Emotions• They tremble

• You receive the LIFE, then REVEAL the life• A changed life• Trust Christ• Living for Christ

3. DYNAMIC FAITH

1. DEAD faith touches only the intellect (mind)2. DEMONIC faith mind & emotions

3. DYNAMIC faith involves 1. INTELLECT 2. EMOTIONS & 3. the WILL!

3. DYNAMIC FAITH

• True Saving faith leads to • ACTION• OBEDIENCE through GOOD WORKS

• Abraham & Rahab

But if I do his work, believe in the evidence of the miraculous works I have done, even if you don’t

believe me. Then you will know and understand that the Father is in me, and I am in the Father.”
