NEW YEAR 2012 CHIRPCome December and everyone is already thinking about how the coming new year 2012 would probably come into their lives with new hopes and new experiences. Some might cherish the past year for the good times they had and some might hate it. After all not everyone gets to sip from their cup of tea all the time. In any case new years’ is always a time that each one of us looks forward to. There is always an excitement glued to this event called the New Year. A businessman smiles and looks forward to the profits he is going to earn next year, a sweeper may hope for a pay rise or a new year gift from his master, a student might look forward for academic excellence and so on everyone has his/her excitements, emotions, hopes and beliefs related to this winter clad refreshing and rejuvenating day called the new year.

Last year was hell of a year for the common Indian man and the Indian media. From CWG scam and Spectrum scam to Anna Hazare and Baba Ji Ramdev hype, from inflation, price rise to jantar mantar demonstrations and terrorizing bomb blasts in Mumbai khau galis we saw a lot of drama and action packed events on our television sets. But whatever happens we Indians know how to survive and continue living moving on with newer inspirations and hopes. For such an Indian spirit comes in a couple more weeks the NEW YEAR.

Aunties will go shopping and prepare for poojas, uncles will probably bring home new investments like a new car or something and brag about it, metro girls and boys will be seen out in the street, clubs etc. new year parties and boozing away all past agonies and welcoming new year with happiness and joy.

Whatever sorrows past year has brought us, lets forget those petty issues (as you would surely call them next year this time). Apart from all our personal goals, lets take another resolution this year- to add lives to days not days tour lives. Cheers to our spirit, cheers to a new beginning and cheers to freshness and novelty.HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE…. ITS PARTY TIME
