2. Q: What is the default Username and Password?A: Username: admin Password: 123456

3. Q: How to reset Password? A: Please Login using Backdoor password: 12888 (Must key in from physically front of DVR). Please reset DVR to factory Default and the Password shall be changed back to 123456

4. Q. How to reset DVR to factory default?A: Right click on Mouse -> Configure>System Setup->Utility->Reset Configuration

5. Q. How to change NTSC – PAL?A: Right click on Mouse -> Configure> System Setup->Video Format Detection-> Pal

6. Q: What Apps to be used for Remote viewing on Mobile smartphone?A: Iphone/Ipad: Iwatch DVR II Android: Iwatch DVR II

7. Q: How to setup Continuous recording?

A: Right click on Mouse ->Configure->Record Setup->Make sure all channel in continuous record been ticked (example as shown below).

8. Q: How to setup Motion recording?

A: Right click on Mouse -> Configure->Record Setup->Make sure all channel in Event Record been ticked.(Example as shown below). Making sure Motion Detection has been enabled.

9. Q: How to Setup Motion Detection Setting? A: Right click on Mouse ->Configure->Event Setup->Motion Detection-> Setup->Enabled (Example as show below)

10. Q: Will it send picture to my email when event occurred?

A: YES. Please make sure you have setup mail notification correctly (Configure-> Network Setup->Mail Setup).

Besides, Configure->Event Setup-Mail to” Receiver Setup” need to be enabled as well.11. Q:How to search footage?

A: Right Click on Mouse->Time Search-> Select the Date->Select the time-> press Play button12. Q:How to Backup? (For USB backup, the flash memory stick required to be formatted in FAT32 format)

A: Right Click on Mouse ->Backup-> Insert details such as From, To, Select channels,

Calculate, Select Media and Backup (“Backup file is in AVi format)

13. Q: How to check firmware version?A: Right Click on Mouse->Configure->System Information

14. Q: How to upgrade firmware on DIGIGUARD HDSDI DVR?A: Please consult your key account manager for Firmware upgrade. Once you received the firmware download it to USB memory stick (USB memory stick has to be in FAT32 format). -> Insert it to the DVR USB Port-> Right click on Mouse->Configure-> System Setup-> Utility->Upgrade firmware

15. Q: How do I adjust Camera Colour or contrast from the DVRA: Apparently on HDSDI, there is no function to change the Colour or contrast button. All setting has to be done on the camera OSD.

16. Q. How to format HDD?A: Right Click on Mouse -> Configure->Storage Setup->Select the HDD you would like to format-> Format

17. Q: How to check if the DVR is recording?

A: When you see icon like this on each Channel

18. Q: All the menu and mouse was locked up. Seems like the DVR is Freezed. Especially when you do playback.A: Please try to upgrade the firmware or it might be HDD faulty

19. Q: Will DVR format/erase all the HDD when upgrading firmware?A: NO. The footage will still be there in HDD

20. Q: I cannot connect to DVR remotely. It does not even connect locallyA: Please check all the setting and Ethernet cable. Please also check LED Light at front panel is blinking. Sometimes it might be the CAT5 Ethernet cable problem or did not plug in correctly.(NOTE: You are required to be a qualified network professional to configure DVR network setting or consult with IT specialist)

21. Q: The fan on DVR is too noisy. Can we do something about the fan?A: NO. The fan is there to cool down the systems and HDD. . (WARNING:PLEASE!! DO NOT PUT ANY DVR INSIDE BEDROOM)

22. Q: How can I calculate how long the HDD can record for?A: HDSDI - Estimation of 80GB per channel per day on continuous recording, Highest Frame rate and Quality

23. Q: How to record Audio?

A: Insert Microphone into the back of the DVR Audio 1 (Channel 1). Click the Audio Sign/icon. Please ensure the Audio record has been enabled. Right click on mouse->configure->Record Setup-> Enable Audio for the channel where the Microphone has been connected to.

24. Q: Can I search, Playback and backupfootage from Remote PC?A: Yes. Thru Internet Explorer(IE) or DVRemote Desktop software you can search, playback and backup.Backup to Mac OS??

25. Q: Does DIGIGUARD support MAC OS?A: YES. Try login from safari and download the software for MAC OS

26. Q: Can I change the setting for the DVR Remotely?A: Yes.

27. Q: Can I search,playback and backup footage into Mobile smartphone?A: Yes. Both Iphone and Android

28. Q: Does DIGIGUARD DVR take 3TB HDD each?A: YES and up to 4 HDD bays

29. Q: Can I select which channel to display on spot output?A: Yes. Right click on mouse->Main Menu-> System Setup-> Stop Setup

30. Q: How to delete System Log?A: Right Click on Mouse-> Main menu-> Utility-> Reset System Event

31. Q: I’m trying to login into DVR thru Internet Explorer(IE) but why there is no images?A: It might be a possibility the Active X has been blocked by firewall. Please enable all the activeX from the Internet explorer tools

32. Q: How do I disable the video loss channel?

Click Once to Enable Audio

A: You can disable by uncheck the channel thru Right Click on Mouse - > Configure-> Record Setup->untick the record selection on particular channel having NO Video

33. Q: The date always reverted back to 01/01/2000. How can we fix it?A: Required to change the button battery inside the board. Battery model to be changed: CR2032.

34. Q: Can we change position of the camera thru DVR without physically change the cable from the back of the DVR?A: NO.

35. Q: What is the USERNAME and Password for ICMSA: Username: admin Password: 123456

36. Q: Can I drag and drop the camera channel in ICMS?A: No

37. Q: Can we set permission on different account to control relay output?A: Yes. The relay output can be control thru different account, even thru IE or even from Mobile (in process of changing)
