Maintain a file of all accreditation materials

ALO as Reporter
• Prepare and submit Annual Reports
– Due March 31 each year
– Covers updated information on enrollment, key personnel, finances, and substantive change matters
• Prepare and submit Interim Reports as required (usually by Commission following a visit)

ALO as Campus Substantive Change Manager
• Learn substantive change policies so you know when a new endeavor must be submitted for approval
• Establish a process to ensure that all substantive changes are submitted
• Review sub change proposals before submitted

ALO as Responder to Complaints
• Receive letters and documentation of complaints submitted to WASC
• Respond timely to letters re complaints with full documentation and explanations
• Cooperate in resolving issues that affect compliance with WASC CFRs and policies

ALO as Interpreter and Communicator
• Keep up to date on changes in WASC Standards, processes and policies
• Determine how new policies and other changes affect the campus
• Establish new processes as needed to ensure conformity with changes
• Communicate changes to the right people in the campus community

ALO as Leader/Facilitator of the Accreditation Reviews
• Provide leadership for the establishment of committees that will conduct self-review and prepare Proposals, CPR, EER and Special Visit reports
• Consult with the assigned WASC staff liaison for guidance
• Create timelines and follow-through mechanisms and monitor progress

ALO as Visit Coordinator
• Ensure that report and data portfolio submitted timely and in keeping with requirements
• Communicate with assigned AD and team re visit plans and schedule
• Prepare draft schedule and revise• Arrange hotel, local transportation and other
logistics• Set up team room• Respond to requests for additional materials

ALO as Liaison for Financial Issues
• Receive Commission invoices for annual dues, visit and other fees, and reimbursements
• Ensure that invoices are routed to the financial office and paid

ALO as a Member of the WASC ALO Community
• Attend ALO workshop annually and other special events and meetings
• Participate in the online community discussions
• Provide WASC with feedback on proposed policies, procedures, reports, etc.
• Serve on evaluation teams and committees as requested
