Created to evoke the original fun of driving in the city, the all-electric Lexus UX 300e is the latest addition to our range of hybrid SUVs. As you press ‘power’ and grip the steering wheel, the unique character of the first fully electric Lexus becomes apparent. Take to the streets and you’ll quickly delight in the UX 300e’s swift linear acceleration and confident cornering. Notice how every element of the driving experience has been electrified – from the smoothness of the drivetrain, to the sophisticated cabin sound composed by Active Sound Control, right through to the powerful yet efficient air conditioning.

Sharing the striking urban looks which characterise all UX models, under the bonnet the UX 300e is powered by an advanced electric motor delivering 150 kW (204 DIN hp) and 300 Nm of instantaneous torque. Allowing you to travel 196 miles* between charges, the car’s lithium-ion battery benefits directly from our unrivalled experience of building over 1.6 million electrified Self-Charging Hybrids since 2004. In fact, for Lexus, all-electric vehicles represent more of a natural evolution than a disruptive revolution. And thanks to our leadership in hybrids, key technologies like the power control unit, battery management system and electric motors/generators are already in their fourth generation, having been tried and tested over many millions of miles.

What’s more, with over 25,000 car charging points across the UK, you won’t have to worry about where you can charge your new electric car. With the help of the Lexus Link app, finding your nearest charging point is easy.

It is also simple to charge your new car at home. You choose when to charge your UX 300e and can set the time of charging via the Lexus Link app. You may also be eligible for a government grant to help cover the installation.

Lexus Link offers a range of convenient services that will enhance your New UX 300e experience. From your phone, you will be able to continuously check the battery level and remaining range. Start or stop the battery charge and set-up a timer based on the lowest electricity rate, for example overnight at home. You will be able to plan your journey based on charging infrastructures and the most efficient routes, and even pay for a charge on the way using your phone. All designed to make owning an Electric car as simple as possible.

Lexus Link will also allow, from the phone, to set the cabin temperature and heat or cool the seats well in advance of any trips. Not only is it convenient to never have to sit on a cold seat, it is also more efficient and will help to optimise the real driving range.

To ensure world-class quality, the UX 300e is built alongside Lexus Self-Charging Hybrid models at our award-winning Kyushu plant, with production overseen by Takumi master craftspeople. Here, attention to detail is everywhere, from the beautiful hand-sanded paintwork to the cleanroom assembly of electric components. At the Lexus plant, our elite team stitches the leather seats with a design inspired by ‘sashiko’, a traditional Japanese quilting technique which brings both strength and a distinctive style to the upholstery. Finally, before it is shipped to you, the UX 300e is checked and then rechecked for perfection in a dedicated ‘Quiet Room’ facility. This is, after all, a Lexus.
