    ASSESSMENT TASKS AND DUE DATES:

    The student will be required to complete four

    quizzes, worth 20% of the final grade. Thequizzes will test material covered up to the due date. You will have 15 minutes to completethe quiz. Each quiz can be attempted multiple times with the best score being recorded.

    Weekly Translations on Moodle Discussion ForumLearning Outcomes: a, b, c, dDue Dates: Midnight Sunday end of Semester Weeks 1, 2, 4, 5, 7,8Percentage Weighting: 10%

    In the weeks shown above students are required to post a short translation on theappropriate online discussion forum on Moodle. These will be taken from the section B orC exercises at the end of the appropriate chapters of the textbook (Duff). The tutor willinform students of the exact details for each translation exercise. In the other weeks

    students are still welcome to submit an optional translation. The tutor will grade alltranslations submitted, and the best 6 grades out of all translations submitted will be thoserecorded as the final grade for this assessment.

    Percentage Weighting: 30%There will be one major assignment of three parts during the semester. This assignmentapplies the grammar and syntax learned during the year to a passage in the Koine GreekReader. It also familiarises the student with exegetical resources.

    The assignment must be handed in 3 parts. This will enable adequate feedback andlearning regarding translations for students before the exam.

    Percentage Weighting: 40%Length: 1 hoursThere will be a 90 minute exam covering all aspects of the course during exam week.More information about the exam will be provided by your lecturer/tutor closer to the time.
