Move-In Day Instructions: Domestic students are students who are traveling to Ringling from within the United States, including US territories, as well as any students who have completed a mandatory 14 day quarantine off-campus after arriving from overseas.

Upon coming to campus, students will check-in at the Roskamp Exhibition Hall. Masks are required to be worn at all times during the check-in/move-in process. Please remember to practice physical distancing throughout this entire process. Further, upon check-in all students and family members will undergo a health screening including a temperature check. Students may only have one family member at a time accompany them into their residence hall. Written COVID-19 test results will be collected and verified for falling within five-day window. Results obtained by a student’s local doctor can be faxed to 941-359-4854. Students without such documentation will be given self-administered test kit to complete and asked to quarantine in their Residence Halls room until results can be validated. Students also have the option to leave campus with their family. Staff will also check to see if all health form paperwork and immunizations have been successfully completed. If there are outstanding immunizations, students will complete the necessary immunizations at the time of check-in. Student accounts will then be put on hold until proof of immunization is received. Students with holds on their accounts are not able to register for ongoing classes and until a negative result is received for a COVID test a student may not attend in-person classes. Students who are in the area prior to their move in date, may be tested at the Student Health Center on Thursday August 27th, Friday, August 28th, Monday, August 31st, and Tuesday, September 1. Results are guaranteed within 48 hours. Students who have a negative test may proceed through campus without restriction, adhering to physical distancing rules and wearing face coverings in public and shared spaces.
