The Strategic Monitoring Committee, already established, has taken the responsibility of moving this on, and reporting developments to the school community. Part of this committee’s role is to look at how school is raising standards. The school leadership team present data and there is an opportunity for questions and challenges about what is working well and what needs to be improved. Governors have been regular visitors into school, taking part in learning walks, working with the maths team, joining in English (Handwriting/Spelling) parent and carer workshops, talking to and working with children from across the school and attending E- safety workshops and other training. Governors are currently in the process of writing a Governor Action Plan which will be shared with parents and carers this term. This plan will be put onto the school website. Dear Parents / Carers,
