9. CONTRACTOR SHALL FURNISH SAMPLES OF ALL MATERIALS, AND/OR FINISHES ASSPECIFIED FOR CONSTRUCTION AT THE REQUEST OF THE OWNER OR DESIGNER.
10. ALL MATERIALS SHALL BE NEW, UNUSED, AND OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY IN EVERYRESPECT UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE OR AT THE SPECIFIC AUTHORIZATION OF THEOWNER.

16. CONTRACTOR SHALL MAINTAIN CLEAR AND UNOBSTRUCTED ACCESS FROM ALLFLOORS TO STAIRWELLS AND EXTERIOR EXITS AT ALL TIMES.
17. CONTRACTOR SHALL HAVE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY FOR PROTECTING ALL DANGEROUSAREAS FROM ENTRY BY UNAUTHORIZED PARTIES.
18. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE PROTECTION OF ALL WINDOWS AND DOORS DURINGCONSTRUCTION. MEANS OF PROTECTION SHALL NOT BE ATTACHED TOWINDOW ANDDOOR FRAMES.
19. THE CONTRACTOR AND EACH SUBCONTRACTOR SHALL BE REQUIRED TO COORDINATEWITH OTHER SUBCONTRACTORS AS NECESSARY, INCLUDING THOSE HIRED UNDERSEPARATE CONTRACT BY THE OWNER. EACH SUBCONTRACTOR SHOULD COMPLETEWORK ON AN EXPEDIENT AND REASONABLE SCHEDULE, IN A MANNER THAT DOES NOTDELAY OTHER TRADES AND SUBCONTRACTORS FROM COMPLETION OF WORK.
20. ALL NAILS AND FASTENERS IN AREAS PRONE TO MOISTURE SHALL BE "HOT DIPPEDGALVANIZED" UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.
21. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL KEEP SUFFICIENT WORKMAN ON THE JOB SITE AT ALL TIMESTO PERFORM WORK IN THE MOST EXPEDITIOUS MANNER CONSISTENT WITH GOODWORKMANSHIP, SOUND BUSINESS PRACTICE AND IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THEOWNER.
22. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SECURE AND PAY FOR ALL PERMITS AND INSPECTIONSERVICES OF LOCAL AUTHORITIES OTHER THE ACTUAL BUILDING PERMIT AND HISTORICDISTRICT COMMISSION APPROVAL, WHICH SHALL BE SECURED BY THE OWNER ORDESIGNER PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED START DATE.
