Real Reasons for Accidents

There is no separate lane for two-wheelers anywhere in India

Inclined/right-angle/P1-P2 type parking for two/four-wheelers on roads creates dangerous situation for the moving traffic.

Almost each road will have a separate two-wheeler lane.

There is no standardized design for speed breakers causing 2 wheeler accidents, especially during rainy season

There will be no speed breakers in the country. Instead of that, 200 mm high zebra crossings (which will also act as speed breakers) will provide safety to both , riders & pedestrians. This will save cost & space as well.

Maximum accidents occur at the time of overtaking since there are no proper markings on most of the roads.

Costly projects such as metros, skywalks, monorails, Bus Rapid Transits (BRTs) require huge modifications and are time-consuming.

With minimum expenses, lesser modifications & time , the existing roads and transportation systems can be converted into the nearest standardization.

The above mega projects are effective only after the basic infrastructure is ready; otherwise they create complications.

Entire basic infrastructural sketches are ready along with maximum standardizations.

Non-standard parking, unsafe roads and unorganized traffic is found in front of all bus stands and railway stations.

All railway and bus stand front infrastructure (parking, roads, traffic, etc.) will be standardized. Also, every inter-city bus stand can be standardized for safe travelling.

Even today, in many villages, 10-seater vehicles carry 25 people or more

There will be standardization of share taxies and micro / mini buses for villages.

A horrible incident: In my PUNE city, one frustrated bus driver killed 9 people by driving the bus from wrong side of the road.

Standard roads, parking, buses, bus stops will provide comfort to bus drivers while driving, reduces stress, and motivates the driver to drive safely.

The New Infrastructure Development Planning (IDP) department will take the full responsibility of the country, collectively.

A no of specific buildings will be built at intervals, for small Vendors & Hawkers who run their business by the roadside at present. We call them as CHOTA PARIVAR (small family). Introduction of such small projects will help millions of poor people to survive.
