It has come to our attention that the behaviour of some students on Fred’s bus has been unacceptable. We have spoken to students about being safe, responsible and respectful learners on the bus and parents have been notified. All families need to be aware that unsatisfactory behaviour on the bus can get a student suspended from the bus under the discretion of the driver. Please talk to your children about being quiet and respectful on the bus so the driver can concentrate on the road. Last week year 3/4/5/6 students who attended the Midginbil Excursion had a great time despite the rain. I’m sure they had many stories to tell! Mr Shaun Piccoli visited our school last week to talk about some of the great programs we have and to get an understanding of our processes. He is looking forward to being Tabulam Public School relieving Principal for Term 2. I would like to thank everyone for their kind words as I undertake the relieving Principal at Casino West Public School for Term 2. ‘Outback Books’ visited our school last week and donated a number of books for students to take home to support their interest in reading. We also received a number of books from Inidj Books to build our classroom and library stocks. These books are very much appreciated. Today we had our Seniors’ Morning Tea and Easter Hat Parade. Student items were greatly appreciated and as usual, we received many positive comments about our students, staff and the wonderful atmosphere in our school. We had a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny much to the delight of everyone! Thank you to the canteen and school staff for providing the morning tea. Thank you to all who attended this event. Coming up on the first Sunday (14 th May) of the holidays there is a bike safety workshop at the school. All children are invited to attend. Children can bring their own bike or use one belonging to the workshop group. There will be lunch provided. Mrs Wilkinson will be there on the day. Please see attached flyer. Term Assembly Awards: School Values: Michael Link; Being helpful and responsible on the excursion.
