The collection traces much of Clapton's career featuring the Grammy Award-winning tracks "Change The World","Tears In Heaven", "Bad Love" and including materials from Eric's Grammy Award-winning albums From The Cradleand Unplugged. Guest performers include B.B. King and J.J. Cale.

The release of Forever Man coincides with an upcoming tour, which includes nine concert dates in celebration of his70th birthday on March 30th. The shows will take place at New York City's famed Madison Square Garden on May 1stand 2nd and at London's Royal Albert Hall on May 14th, 15th, 17th, 18th, 20th, 21st, and 23rd. The shows will featureClapton, accompanied by his band members Paul Carrack, Steve Gadd, Nathan East, Chris Stainton, Sharon White,and Michelle John, with opening support act Andy Fairweather Low and the Low Riders. In the Yardbirds, Cream, Blind Faith, and Derek and the Dominos, as well as through his prolific solo work, guitaristEric Clapton has re-defined his own version of the blues. In October 1963, Keith Relf and Paul Samwell-Smithrecruited him to become a member of The Yardbirds because Clapton was the most talked about guitar player on theR&B pub circuit. When he became a member of John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers in 1965, Clapton established hisreputation as a guitarist and earned his second nickname: “God”. After leaving the Bluesbreakers in 1966, Eric teamedup with Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker to form the worldwide-acclaimed band Cream. While a member of Cream, hecemented his reputation as rock’s premier guitarist and was elevated to superstar status. In the summer of 1970, Ericformed Derek and the Dominos with Jim Gordon, Carl Radle and Bobby Whitlock from Delaney & Bonnie’s band. TheDominos would go on to record the seminal rock album, Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs. His career reachednew heights in 1992 with the release of Unplugged and the Grammy winning single, “Tears In Heaven.” Clapton is theonly triple inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame (as a member of both the Yardbirds and Cream and as a soloartist). Olivia Chaney graduated from the Royal Academy of Music and learned the guitar from her father's renditions of BobDylan, Fairport Convention, and Bert Jansch, among others. Since then she has built a loyal and growing following,both in the UK and internationally, through her acclaimed live performances, as a solo artist and also in collaborationwith a diverse range of artists, including Alasdair Roberts, Zero 7, and The Labèque Sisters. In February 2013, sheself-released her eponymous debut EP, which found her further fans with media and public alike, leading BBC Musicto write "it confirms Chaney's arrival as a major talent."
