RADNOR MIDDLE SCHOOL’S ALTERNATIVE PROGRAMS Preparing Students for the 21st Century
Common features of the four programs:
• Grouping: 40 Students and two teachers in a double-sized classroom. • Integration of disciplines: No separate language arts, science, or social
studies. • Academic Levels: Open to students of all abilities with minimal exceptions.
Differentiation occurs within the class. • Authentic Assessment Methods: More projects, presentations, and writing
tasks with a reduced emphasis on tests and quizzes • Progress Reporting: Self assessments, mid-year and end-of-year
evaluations. No grades/T.A.C.

Home Access Center (HAC)
• Keeping up with your child’s work completion • Every family will have a HAC password and
login (issued at fall Open House) • Updated approximately every two weeks • Report Cards (4 quarters) • Schoology—not connected to HAC-used by
teachers for assignments.
