Do not use cable shears to cut materials other than copper. Always conform to the cutting capacities when working on copper wires.

Do not use hammers on a material whose hardness is higher than the hammer head (50-58 HrC).

Tape measures should be used as a precision instrument. When being used in construction environment involving building chemicals etc., ensure that the tape is clear when rewinding. Keep away from water and moisture as this might rust the blade.

Do not use tools other than hammers for striking purpose.

Do not alter the sizes and dimensions of your tools.

Please conform to the capacities listed throughout the product tables.

The torque power of ballpoint hex tools is lower compared to normal hex tools. Please use them accordingly.

Never use extensions on tools unless it is specified that it is appropriate.

Ring ends of ratcheting combination wrenches should be used for rapid tightening. It is recommended that you use the open end for high torque final tightening.

Torque wrenches signal with a “click” sound when the preset torque is reached. Further application of power after this signal may destroy the ratchet or the spring mechanism.

Never use chromed sockets on impact wrenches. Use only impact sockets which are black coloured on impact wrenches.

Do not use your screwdriver as a lever or a chisel. Avoid exerting excess torque through using the hanging hole as a lever.

Always select the right type of screwdriver or screwdriver bit for the type of screw you are using. Too small or too big a screwdriver/bit compared to the screw may destroy the tool or the screw. Also be careful about the distinction between Phillips and Pozidrive screws.

Do not use pliers and cutters for cutting materials larger than the permissible capacities. Avoid short circuiting when working on live circuits as this may destroy the cutting edges.

Compliance to the below mentioned instructions and avoiding misuse will ensure that your tools will serve you without any problems for years. This will also keep our warranties valid. In the event that our tools fail due to the one of the below shown types of misuses, the warranty will be invalid.

Examples of Improper Use

The Ceta Form GuaranteeCeta Form offers a total quality guarantee for its tools against defects in material or workmanship. This guarantee covers the free repair or replacement of the faulty tool.

This guarantee is not valid for tools which have been misused or abused. A tool’s normal wear and tear in the expected reasonable lifetime is also exempt from guarantee.

Exceptions of the Ceta Form Guarantee

Tool cabinets, tool cases, torque wrenches, tape measures, utility knives, lighting equipment, cutting tools and wire brushes are covered by a 2 year warranty against failures due to production defects.

Consumable items such as bits, hole saws, files, utility knife blades, hacksaw blades, jigsaw blades, plastic hammer heads and hand riveter spares are covered by a limited warranty only. This warranty is valid if the product is unusable when it is in new condition due to a possible production defect.
