August 7 Shamrock Moms Used Clothing Sale August 7 Shamrock Moms Used Clothing Sale

All families are invited to our annual used clothing sale on Saturday, August 7 at 8 a.m. in Shamrock Gym. Gently-used clothes donated by current and former families will be on sale for extremely low prices. Great way to stock up on uniform pieces without breaking the bank! Freshmen are asked to begin arriving at 9:15 a.m. to purchase their books. When each freshman is finished, a senior will show him to his locker and introduce him to his House Director. The process will last 90 minutes or less. August 11 Freshman/Transfer Student Day August 11 Freshman/Transfer Student Day

Freshmen and transfer students will have the buildings to themselves as they go through an abbreviated schedule (8 a.m. - 1 p.m.). Lunch will be available for purchase and the lunch process will be covered in detail. August August 12 First Day of Classes for All Students 12 First Day of Classes for All Students

The first day of classes will be a Green day. Classes begin at 8 a.m. Dismissal will be at the usual time of 2:50 p.m.

Freshmen and their parents will attend this special event where all will commit to the academic mission of the school. Event begins at 7 p.m. Formal invitation to follow.

Parents are invited to walk in their son’s shoes for an evening as they move through his class schedule and meet his teachers. Event runs from 7-9 pm.

August 27 Opening Mass for the 2021-22 School Year August 27 Opening Mass for the 2021-22 School Year The Trinity FAMILY is invited to come and help set the tone for a great school year. Senior class officers will reveal the theme for the school year. Mass begins at 8:15 a.m. and students are dismissed after mass around 10:00 a.m.

School Hours Normal school hours are 8 a.m. to 2:50 p.m. with the following exceptions:On Wednesdays, school starts at 9 a.m.On Fridays, school is dismissed at 2 p.m.

Alumni Hall (cafeteria) opens at 7 a.m. daily for students who arrive early. Breakfast is available each day for purchase. Alumni Hall stays open until at least 4:30 p.m. after school each day for students waiting for rides. A small snack bar of items is available for purchase in the afternoons. Alumni Hall is proctored by teachers at all times.

AttendanceAbsences must be properly reported by a parent or guardian by calling the Student Affairs Office (502-736-2123) between 7:30 – 9:30 a.m. Requests for absences for reasons other than for illness should be made at least five days in advance.

PowerSchoolOur online grading system allows you to stay up-to-date with your son’s academic standing and communicate with his teachers. Information about how to set up your account was included in the June mailing.

Lunch AccountsYour son has the option of purchasing lunch at Trinity or bringing a lunch from home. If he purchases lunch at school, he can pay with cash or use his school ID. Beginning August 1, you may add funds to your son’s lunch account by visiting www.myschoolbucks.com.www.myschoolbucks.com.

Freshman EssentialsBooks and PE uniforms can be purchased at Book Day in the bookstore on August 9. Other important items your son will need to help ease his transition into Trinity include a TI-84 calculator and an electronic device which our Technology Department will register for you at Book Day. More details are shared in the July mailing from Academic Services.
