WORKSHOP
Unforgiveness
Characteristics (See The Song of
Prayer, 2.I)
1. Most people don’t understand what
forgiveness is.
2. Most people do not really want to
understand what forgiveness is and to
truly learn how to do it.
3. We have an affinity to looking at errors
and mistakes of others and blowing
them out of proportion.
4. When unforgiveness is present the
common denominator characteristic is
the feeling of separation underneath.
Misguided Forgiveness (See The Song of Prayer, 2.II)
I forgive you because…..
1. I am a better person than you are.
2. We are both unworthy sinners.
3. I am saintly and a martyr.
4. You agree to meet my needs.
Also see, I am Entitled to Miracles!
Chapter 10
Get Your Brothers Off the Cross, Too!

Gift Exchange Exercise Part 2 (See Lesson 78—Let miracles replace all grievances.)
We will be doing a meditation using Lesson 78.
Feel free to jot down notes from your meditation.
Continue the Forgiveness Work you
started. Look within honestly and see
the grievances are really in you!
When you feel that you are tempted
to accuse someone of sin in any form,
do not allow your mind to dwell on
what you think he did, for that is self-
deception. Ask instead, "Would I
accuse myself of doing this?" ~W-134.9

Forgiveness the ACIM Way (See The Song of Prayer, 2. Intro, Clarification of Terms 3-4,
Text, Chapter 20, I and Chapter 12,VI.)
1. The GREATEST HELP is your GREATEST GIFT!
2. We are helpless and need help. Why not accept the help of happy fiction?
3. We need a healthy dose of correction for TRUE PERCEPTION.
4. See the Face of Christ in your brother, for in that both of you will be released.
5. Holy Spirit’s Mission is to open our eyes. He wants to share with you. Let Him!
Lesson 78—Let miracles replace all grievances.
1. ...decision that you make is one between a grievance and a miracle.
2. Yet all the while it waits for you in light, but you behold your grievances instead.
4. Today we go beyond the grievances, to look upon the miracle instead.
5. ...as you lay them (grievances) down he will appear
in shining light where each one stood before.
6. (Son of God) stands in light, but you were in the
dark.
7. We will not let ourselves be blind to him; we will not
look upon our grievances.
8. ...see our savior in the light of true forgiveness…
9. ...appointed...to lead me to the holy light...that I
may join with him.
10. ...let your mind be shown the light in him beyond
your grievances.
