Dear New North Citizen Council Members:

This letter is to officially request the resignation of ALL members of the New North Citizens Council. As you know, over the last few months many poor decisions have been made unbeknownst and on behalf of the residents of the North End. To no avail the New North Citizens Council has made decisions without publicly notifying the North End residents and have continued it processes privately even after it was brought to their attention.

It was requested that two (2) N.I.N.E. residents were required to participate in interviewing contractors for the building of the facility on Wason Avenue or in the city of Springfield. To date, our understanding is that there have been private interviews with several contractors without the involvement of the community. This is misrepresentation on your behalf and you are in violation of what the North End citizens have requested from you.

The citizens of the North End do NOT want this facility in our neighborhood but the council seems to ignore and continue to work against the residents it is supposed to represent. We do NOT want anyone on your council to represent us any longer and we are giving you the official notice to cease any and all meetings and to relinquish the positions that all of you hold.

Attached are signatures of residents of the North End. We would like the removal of all committee members and the offices vacated immediately; so that we can publicly hold an election to welcome NEW members that will work with and for our community and neighborhood.
