Held March 3, 2014 beginning at 1:30 p.m. EST. Sherlene Stevens created the show after reading the challenges of Malcolm X: ministerial career path. As many of you know, at one time, I, Sherlene, was trying to become a United Methodist pastor in Kent County, Maryland. The inspiration of becoming a pastor began when I, a member of my local United Methodist Church, was asked to help out when we didn't have and couldn't afford a real trained or seasoned pastor. At the same time I asked the local church (4-church buildings) to help me in opening A Time To Learn Academy. I was completing my training of being a Christian lay speaker who simply wanted to have a learning center in the community - an alternative education choice for youth and families. Due to being in the arranged marriage, my ex-husband then relocated us out of the county to other counties - Queen Anne's and then Caroline. His large family setting is most of the Upper Eastern Shore of Maryland/DE/PA. It didn't deter my career goals, "One person doesn't stop God's plan." The format of the Show came to be from my earlier experiences of an Interfaith newsletter that was distributed in the state of Maryland and Delaware (while I was participating in culture-oriented courses in college s). Again, I/We have never had a truly seasoned pastor overseeing our 4-church congregation. I personally did the best that I could professionally as a ministerial staff (or lay speaker) in training. Also I was thinking of the innocent Muslims of our country, and the lack of togetherness as U.S. citizens after 9/11 attack. So I simply created the New Monday Show from the distributed newsletters and reviewing other pastors who participated in large community resource participations: Farrakhan (Nation of Islam); T.D. Jakes (Nondenominational); and, other Christian priests (TBN cable-channel, local pastors). And you, your point of view is ... ? Should the show remain Interfaith, or simply a Christian show that brings awareness to the many likenesses of the major scriptures: Torah, Bible, and Qu'ran? Not being an ordained minister or Iman, I am considering simply a Bible (lecture) series after the completion of reading the entire Qu'ran. Next, I will have announced guest to speak on varied topics. The Show's format is an educational one. I don't consider the show a ministry. Do you? It is my ministry that I provide as a Christian faith believer. Faith believers are to participate in some form of outward ministry. I truly wanted to remain a United Methodist member but ... during the

It didn't deter my career goals, "One person doesn't stop God's plan."

The format of the Show came to be from my earlier experiences of an Interfaith newsletter that was distributed in the state of Maryland and Delaware (while I was participating in culture-oriented courses in college s).

?Should the show remain Interfaith, or simply a Christian show that brings awareness to the many likenesses of the major scriptures: Torah, Bible, and Qu'ran?

Not being an ordained minister or Iman, I am considering simply a Bible (lecture) series after the completion of reading the entire Qu'ran. Next, I will have announced guest to speak on varied topics. The Show's format is an educational one.  I don't consider the show a ministry. Do you? It is my ministry that I provide as a Christian faith believer. Faith believers are to participate in some form of outward ministry. I truly wanted to remain a United Methodist member but ...  during the process of getting a long-awaited divorce it became very challenging to remain in the religious sect (United Methodist, AME, Cogic, Methodist) and around his large family. A conflict of interest for many state agencies and religious agencies (my career, church family, etc.).

My point of view is ...I am a teacher. Realizing this allows me to understand why I do what I do and I want you to understand my personal brand.  I know this and the things that I have experienced helps me to know that if I had "my own" church I'd still probably review the likeness of the Qu'ran, and interact with other like-minded religious leaders. In a denomination setting (Methodist, Baptist, Catholic, Presbyterian, etc.) this would be a reason to automatically fire me. I am still a Christian regardless of whether I attend a church building on a consistent basis.

Religion is really structured so that you normally minister one of the three major faiths (unlike the Nation of Islam that is primarily for blacks but teaches out of the

Bible and Qu'ran). Like Malcolm X, you live and you learn the ropes of being in religion. This is the attitude when you have no seasoned pastor guiding you. When your members leave and then you don't bother with finding proper ministerial staff to oversee the church building. When you have no other religious rules to compare.  As a Christian, "I live and learn." Sorry, if I've offended a minister, rabbi, or Iman.

The mission is and will remain to help others who have experienced religious-affiliation hurt or temple, mosque, or church-hurt. To teach or give the understanding of what is included in the major holy books in all the world targeting families, gifted-and-talented, fine arts oriented individuals, and family business owners. I want my listeners to be knowledgeable, to be educated.

End of meeting.
